Producer Special S.3 E 15 – Over the Tap

The Connoisseurs discuss the Over the Tap Fest event hosted by Blood Brothers Brewing on January 27th, 2023.
Unfortunately none of us were able to attend the event in person this year (hint, hint; nudge, nudge - Blood Brothers), but Producer Warren and Brett decided to put in an online order, as these special and collaborative beers were made available for purchase the day prior to the event.
The event was designed to showcase Blood Brothers’ new space with 11 one-off collab beers, 15 guest taps, a carnival food fest by Beast, a DJ in each space and commemorative glasses for all. They partnered up with 11 of their favourite breweries to make some “truly crazy beers for this momentous occasion.”

Producer Special S.3 E 14 – A Bid Farewell

It is with heavy hearts we reflect on another Ontario brewery who was forced to close their doors as a result of the rising costs of doing business and decreased sales.
This closure hits closer to home as they were one of our featured breweries in our podcast’s inaugural season (Season 1 Episode 11).
As the market correction continues to take shape across the Ontario craft beer landscape, unfortunately this will not be the last brewery who will have to cease operations. Therefore, we once again urge you to continue to support your local craft breweries through these tough times.

Producer Special S.3 E 13 – Everything Gets Better with Age

In our last main episode featuring Neustadt Springs Brewery, we were able to try their classic Schwarzbier, a German dark lager style beer. However, also available at the brewery is a barrel aged version of this beer which Brett had already stashed away amongst his vast selection of beers. 
Brett graciously allowed the other connoisseurs and Producer Brock to sample the barrel-aged version to compare this to the original.
