Prost!
It’s the perfect time of the year to talk (and partake in) some Oktoberfest celebrations! 🍻
We bet you’ve heard of it - that  special beer drinking festival that’s known for its unique traditions, music, snacks, and of course beer (served in a big ol’ stein!).
But… where and why did this unique celebration originate? What beers remind us of Oktoberfest? And, what are the best Oktoberfest themed food pairings?
We talk about it all in this week’s producer special episode! Join us to celebrate and feel free to pour one into a frosty stein and snack on a soft pretzel 🥨🍻 while you do so!)

Inspired by the only 5 that Brett, Tyler & Producer Alex have all had ( yes, they agreed once on something) we review this year’s version of Jackass Brewing’s  Orange Creamsicle Sour - this one being called Screamsicle.
Will it live up to the hype & still be a 5 like last year's version? Give it a listen & find out!

We are joined by producer Alex where we review 2 beers – “IPA” which is an IPA  & “Autumn”  which is our first Marzen reviewed on the podcast. We also have look down memory lane in terms of which beers we have had previously from Anderson (hint: it’s a few) and touch on their single hop series
Then, we discuss a bit about some of our memories of live music and what we believed to be lesser known artists who may have been larger than originally thought.

Inspired by Flying Monkeys’ crazy can art, we thought it was the appropriate time to discuss the influence of can artistry on the consumer. Does the label design sway your decision when purchasing beer?

As always, we review 2 beers. First up is “Fireworks & Karate” a Margarita IPA. And then one that always gets people talking in the Craft Beer world “Sparklepuff” which is a triple IPA. We also have a conversation on their philosophy & just how much beer they make on a yearly basis … bet it is more than you think?
Then, we get serious and have a discussion about combining animals.
